Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains how the Slipfold website and invoice tool (“Slipfold”, “we”) handle information. Short version: the documents you create stay in your browser, and we don't collect them.
Your documents and business details
Invoices, estimates, receipts, client and item lists, your business details and your logo are stored only in your web browser's local storage on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. PDFs are generated inside your browser and saved to your device. Backups you export are files on your device.
Because the data lives in your browser, clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or switching to another browser or device means it won't be there. Use “Export backup” to keep a copy. You can delete everything at any time with “Delete all data” on the My documents screen or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
What this website collects
Slipfold is a static website with no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or tracking scripts. Pages don't load scripts, fonts or other resources from third-party servers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), processes standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested pages in order to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.
Payments
There are currently no paid features and we don't collect any payment information. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any purchase is possible.
Children
Slipfold is a business tool and is not directed at children.
