Terms of Use
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Slipfold (“the Service”) is operated by Slipfold. By using the Service you agree to these terms. The Service is currently free of charge; there are no paid features or purchases.
What the Service does
The Service lets you create invoices, estimates and receipts in your web browser and download them as PDF files. It does not send documents, collect payments, file taxes or keep copies of your data on a server.
Not tax, legal or accounting advice
The Service and the guides on this website are general information and tools only. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice. You are responsible for the content of your documents, including names, amounts, tax rates, and any information required by the laws that apply to you. Calculations follow the values you enter; check every document before you send it. If you're unsure, ask a qualified professional.
Your data
Your documents are stored in your browser on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We can't see, recover or restore them. Keep your own backups.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to create false, misleading or fraudulent documents, to impersonate another business, or for any unlawful purpose.
Free PDFs
PDFs created with the free Service include a small line at the bottom saying they were made with Slipfold, with a link to this website.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, revenue or business, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Changes
We may change the Service or these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
